Bridging the gap
in agriculture
to feed Africa's
next billion

Leveraging cutting-edge technology, sustainable practices, and strategic partnerships to empower smallholder farmers, optimize value chains, and drive scalable impact across Africa's agricultural landscape.

Our African food systems are struggling…

Food Security

Despite abundant resources, food production is often insufficient to meet the needs of the growing population.

Logistics Inefficiencies

Poor infrastructure and fragmented
supply chains lead to significant
post-harvest losses and food waste.

Nutritional Deficiencies

A lack of diverse, nutrient-rich food
options contributes to widespread
malnutrition and health issues.

Agrifrika is committed to addressing the critical challenges facing African food systems. We work tirelessly to develop innovative solutions that enhance food security, optimize supply chains, and improve nutrition across the continent. Our approach focuses on sustainable agriculture, technological advancements, and community empowerment to create resilient and thriving food ecosystems in Africa.

We are actively raising funds!

Family & Friends

$50,000

August to September 2024

The objective of this funding round is to establish our early presence both physically and in the minds of our target audience, communities and potential partners. We are actively raising this capital through a friends and family round, first targeting those closest to us and then expanding to individuals within our network who have the financial capacity to invest. In exchange, we offer SAFE (Simple Agreement for Future Equity) notes as a precursor to our initial fundraising efforts.

Bridge Investment

$100,000

October 2024 to January 2025

This funding round aims to deploy our product by creating strong connections between buyers and farmers, allowing us to validate our market hypotheses. We plan to build the foundational platform that will facilitate these interactions, focusing on the core features that will drive early adoption. This round will also enable us to start working on customer feedback loops and refine our product offering based on real-world insights. To secure the $100,000, we will target small and medium-sized grants, as well as explore angel investors who align with our mission.

Pre-seed Investment

$250,000

February to April 2025

In this round, we aim to reach key traction milestones, including setting up a storage facility for our main product and expanding our market reach. This phase is crucial for scaling our operations and preparing for rapid growth. By this stage, we will have developed clear impact reports and key performance metrics to attract potential investors. We will approach impact funds, family offices, and early-stage venture funds, positioning Agrifrika as a high-potential, socially responsible investment opportunity. Securing $250,000 will allow us to refine our business model and further validate our market fit.

Coming Soon...

Seed Investment

$1,5M

May to December 2025

This critical phase will position Agrifrika as a national leader in the agricultural sector. With $1.5 million in funding, we will pre-finance farmers, store larger quantities of produce, and expand our sales across Cameroon. Our focus will be on identifying optimal regions for cultivation, increasing production sites to mitigate risks, and starting the processing of our primary product. This investment will enable us to scale our operations efficiently and take significant steps toward nationwide market dominance. We will exclusively target venture capital firms that not only provide capital but also align with our mission to create lasting social and environmental impact in the agricultural value chain.

FAQ Investors

Agrifrika stands out due to its end-to-end approach, which not only provides technological tools but also connects smallholder farmers directly to markets. While many agritech companies focus on single solutions, we offer a holistic platform that integrates digital tools, market access, and support for the entire agricultural value chain. Additionally, we are deeply committed to sustainable practices and economic empowerment, particularly in underserved regions, making our model both scalable and impactful. Our ability to localize technology to fit the specific needs of farmers in Cameroon and beyond sets us apart.

Agrifrika is looking forward to generating revenues through multiple channels. We will take a transaction fee on the sales facilitated between farmers and buyers through our platform, as well as offering premium services like storage and processing to add value to raw agricultural products. In the long run, as we scale, we will introduce a subscription model for farmers and agribusinesses that want access to more advanced tools and analytics. By expanding our reach across Cameroon and eventually to other African markets, we aim to achieve profitability through economies of scale and diverse revenue streams.

Market volatility is a key challenge in agriculture, and we mitigate this risk through several strategies. First, our platform allows us to gather and analyze data, helping farmers make informed decisions on crop planning and timing. Second, we diversify our sourcing regions and product offerings to spread risk across different markets and climatic conditions. Lastly, our long term model involves providing pre-financing options to farmers, ensuring that they have the resources they need to produce, regardless of short-term market fluctuations. By focusing on resilience, we ensure that our operations are not heavily affected by volatility.

Agrifrika's platform is being designed with scalability in mind. Our technology infrastructure will allow us to onboard new farmers, buyers, and regions with minimal additional costs, and our data-driven approach ensures that we can adapt our services to different markets. Our immediate goal is to dominate the Cameroonian market, but our vision is to expand across Francophone Africa, where similar challenges exist in the agricultural sector. We are already exploring partnerships with regional players that will help us scale efficiently and extend our reach into new countries by 2026.

Agrifrika’s core mission is to create both social and environmental impact. Socially, we empower smallholder farmers by giving them access to markets, improving their livelihoods, and supporting local economies. Environmentally, we promote sustainable farming practices by providing farmers with the tools and knowledge they need to minimize waste and optimize resource use. We measure our impact through key performance indicators (KPIs) such as the number of farmers reached, income improvements for smallholders, and reductions in post-harvest losses. Additionally, we track environmental metrics like water and soil management practices adopted by our farmers to ensure long-term sustainability.

We think about providing comprehensive training to farmers, ensuring that the transition is seamless. We are designing a user-friendly platform to meet farmers at their technological skill level, offering as soon as possible local language support and simple interfaces. By simplifying processes for end-users, we emphasize ease of use and continuous support to ensure widespread adoption.

Agrifrika is deeply committed to promoting diversity, inclusion, and gender equity at every level of its operations. We recognize the critical role that women and marginalized groups play in agriculture, particularly in Sub-Saharan Africa. To support this, we ensure that a significant portion of our partners especially smallholder farmer network consists of women, who often face barriers to accessing agricultural technologies and markets. Additionally, we actively seek to balance gender representation within our leadership team and partnerships. Agrifrika will also provide training programs that empower women with the skills needed to thrive in agribusiness, fostering long-term economic independence.
